There are a lot of good singleplayer souls-like games and I dont think this game will get a lot of attention without co-op experience. You should definitely try Deep Rock Galacticme and my friends would probably put it on the same level as Remnant in terms of the co-op / enjoyment / ability to scale difficulty / exploration and all of the other aspects.
